It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Whitt of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Ervin and Willie Arrington Lowe; and her siblings, Caroline K. Lowe Stroupe, Herman Lowe, Jr. and Sandra Lowe Kelly.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Whitt; her sons, Mike and Phil Whitt; her grandchildren, David, Harmony, Melody, Elliot, Andrew and Maddie; and her siblings, Judy Lowe, Patsy Lowe Devlin and Kenneth Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 525 Old 19/23 Hwy, Candler, NC 28715.
