She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Ramsey and Beulah Ramsey; her husband Hardy Thomas Ewart; and her sons, Alfred and Grady Ewart.
She is survived by: her children, Edith Freeman of Candler, Esther Dobbings (Tim) of Arden and Mike Ewart (Annette) of West Asheville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
