Robbie Banks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robbie Banks of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lark Jahue and Nina Lanette Abernathy Metcalf; her daughter Kathy Johnson; and her siblings, Edith Metcalf, Bonnie Reese, Tommy, Paul, Charles, Edward and Larry Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, David Banks of Spartanburg, SC and Peggy Duerksen (Allen) of Rockford, IL; and her siblings, Ruby Arrington, Carolyn Mease, Rev. Benny Metcalf and Robert Metcalf. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID concerns, the family respectfully asks that funeral attendees please wear a mask or facial covering to Mrs. Banks' service.
