She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Buchanan and Pearl Buchanan; her husband Charles Funderburk; and her siblings, Jean Hall and Jerry Buchanan.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Funderburk-Mitchell (Dwayne) of Raleigh; her stepgrandson Matthew Mitchell (Tiffany); her great grandchild Leah Mitchell of Willow Springs; her sister Virginia Hall of Candler; her sister-in-law Maggie Buchanan of Morganton; and her niece Beverly Wright of Asheville.
