He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold F. Erwin and Mae Mintz Erwin Teague. He is survived by: his wife Jean Parker Erwin; and his children, Phillip Erwin, Jeffery Erwin, Larry Erwin, Joe Erwin (Stephanie) and Tasha (Nate). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Browns View Church Cemetery Fund.
