She was predeceased by: her parents, Romas Hicks Duncan and Anna Belle D. Johnson; her daughter Linda Gay Pierce Cody; and her siblings, Helen Gentry, Cecil Duncan, Romas Hicks Duncan, Jr., Grady Lee Duncan, Robert Duncan and William Duncan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Sandlin of Westminster, SC, Marilyn Edwards of Quinton, VA and Peggy Calloway of Hendersonville; and her brother Burnice Duncan of Asheville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
