With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Flynn Ball of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle Flynn Ball to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Flynn and Leslie Flynn of Madison Co; her husband Frank Ball; her brothers, Rex, Bert, Sam and Ted; her grandson Chris Miller; and her great grandchild Brooke Leslie Hooker.

She is survived by: her children, Ben Ball (Susanne), Gladys Miller (Buddy) and Susie Stewart (Tom); her grandchildren, Lisa Miller, Clay Hooker (Beth), Benjamin Ball, III, Ashleigh Ball and Courtney Ball; her great grandchildren, Cade and Gavin Hooker; and her stepgreat-grandsons, Trevor and Owen MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Face masks and social distancing will be required.
