She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Henry J. and Leota Holland Rice; her husband Jerald Rathbone; and her siblings, Reuben, Bobby Rice, Essie Brown, Lucy Bleak, Ellen Austin, Avery Rice, Rhea Jackson, Timothy Rice and Joyce Ann Rathbone.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Surrett (Steve), Angie Surrett (Mike), Cathy Rathbone and Dale Rathbone (Angie); and her siblings, Esther Johnson, Ruth Sprouse, J. W., Larry and Jerry Rice. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
