She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Wilson Rice and Golen Pearle Biddix Rice; her grandson Jason Aaron Mathes; and her siblings, Stephen Lonnie Rice and Louise Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Myers, Johnny William Mathes (Karen) and Joyce Mathes Freeman (Eddie); her grandsons, Johnny William Mathes, Jr., William Eugene Myers, Adam Nathaniel Farmer and Joshua Adam Freeman; and her great great grandchild Milani. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
