He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Garcia and Josefina Carizales Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Leal Garcia; his children, Leticia Reyes (Rafael) of Houston, Maribel Hayes (Daniel) of Fairview, Elizabeth Garcia of Canton, Ricardo Garcia of Fletcher, Mario Garcia Jr. of Candler and Ezequiel Garcia of Canton; and his half-siblings, Gloria Zamora of Manvel, Sylvia Gill of Dickinson, Texas, Samuel Zamora of Alvin and Jesse Zamora of Harlingen, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
