He is survived by: his parent Hazel Annette Bugg Penland; his children, Robert Carl Penland of Candler, Cathy Marie Penland of Candler and Recia Lee Penland of Candler; his grandchildren, Adam Robert Cabe (Amanda), Alan Clifford Cabe, Amber Lee Cabe and Katie Marie Maynor (Scoot); and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Michael, Stella, Joey, Maggie, Lillie and Haven.
