She was predeceased by: her parent Catherine Candler; her husband Robert Randolph Swayngim; her son Steven Randolph Swayngim; and her siblings, Noreen West Moore and Edgar Washington Candler.
She is survived by: her parent Coke Candler; her son Douglas Candler Swayngim (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Rebecca Swayngim and Josh Swayngim; her sister Miriam "Mimi" Cole (Marvin); her daughter-in-law Sofia Swayngim; and also, Chairman and Cindy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hominy Baptist Church or to Memory Care.
