She is survived by: her parents, Johnny William Penland and Ann Floyd Penland; her husband Michael "Mike" Allen Buckner; her children, Laura McMahan (Casey) and John Buckner; her grandsons, Austin and Evan McMahan; and her sister Beth Tuten (Tommy).
