He is survived by: his son Charles "Charlie" Perry Amidon of Asheville; his siblings, Suzanne Amidon Zoole (Jon Leonard Zoole) of Spartanburg, SC and Roger Amidon, Jr. (Lorraine Anderson Amidon) of Mollusk, VA; and his nieces and nephews, William Wilson Mount, III, Joseph McCrary Mount, Bernadette Amidon Cornelius and Lisa Amidon.
