He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver Hall and Reta Wells Hall; his wife Jeanette Suttles Hall; and his sisters, Jane McGill (Ed McGill) and Nancy McCants.
He is survived by: his children, James H. Hall, Jr. and Constance "Connie" Lewis (Mark Lewis); his grandchildren, Christine Jones (Jeremy) and John Lewis (Katie); his great grandchild Lincoln Jones; and his siblings, Linda Kuykendall (David), Alvin Hall (Barbara) and Gene Hall (Maxine).
