He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Blount and Lavinia Henson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Blount; his children, Vivia Thomas (Ronald), Stephanie Blount (Anthony), Lavinia Blount-Parish (Eric), Tara Blount-Boakye (Shawn), Roderick Tolbert (Vickie White), Wanda Welch (Alexander) and Cheryl Blount-Yett (Justin); and his siblings, Penelope Powell, Patricia Williams (Mike), Shirley Ann Blount, Diane Henson, Lynda Carter, Renee Roberts, Jan Blount, Anita Johnson, Jocelyn Blount, Ronald Blount, Anthony Blount and Thomas Henson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p. m. Face mask be worn by all in attendance.
