He is survived by: his son Coleman Jackson Ammons; his mother Sandra Ammons; his aunt Joan Prince of Waynesville; his siblings, Oliver Ammons (Lisha), Mark Ammons (Melissa) of Robbinsville, Amber Ammons (Shane Fish) of Candler and Leslie Ammons Copeland (Billy) of Franklin, TN.; his nephews, Cain Ammons (Alyssa), Graham Simpson-Ammons, Hudson Copeland and Maclean Copeland; his cousin Jeff Queen; and his stepchildren, Cory Holschbach and Kaitlyn Huston.
