Chappelear and Elizabeth Dudley Chappelear; his daughter Elizabeth Chappelear of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Donna O'Dwyer of Tavares, FL, Cindy Wright of Charlotte, NC and Rebecca Sprayberry (Jeff) of Bennettsville, SC; his nephew Josh Wright of Indian Trail, NC; his nieces, Brittany Sprayberry of Gastonia, NC and Chelsea Sprayberry of Wentworth, NC; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucy, Becca, Mattox and Brady; his close friend Kim Kendall of Charlotte, NC; and his pet Sadie.
