It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Louise Wallace Lipe in Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Wallace and Connie Wallace; her husband Lucius Allen Lipe, Jr.; her children, Priscilla and George; her grandson Chris Lipe; her daughter-in-law Linda Lipe; and her siblings, Eileen Wallace Johnson, Laura Wallace Ashton, Leila Wallace Schwartz, Arvalee Wallace Ray, James Calvin Wallace and Donald Simpson Wallace.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Phillip Lipe (Marsha), Mark Randall Lipe and Morris Anthony Lipe; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lipe King (Barry), Bryan Zebulon Lipe (Hyejin), Jessica Nicole Lipe, Jeremy Hinshaw, Madeline Clark Lipe, J. D. (John Williams) and Marshall Hunt Lipe (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Holden Welch King, Lena Olivia Lipe, Hazel Autumn Hinshaw and Amelia Rose Hinshaw.
