With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Furman Isaiah Dills of Candler, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Milton Dills Sr. and Vacila Fansler Dills; his siblings, Ernest Jerry Dills, Elman Dean Dills, George Milton Dills Jr., Jay Coleman Dills, Maxine Dills Brown and Marcella Dills Warren; and his grandparents, Emma Guffey Dills and Asa Merida Dills.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Trull Dills; his daughter Kim; his grandsons, Matt (Sarah) and Seth (Savannah); his siblings, Steve (Freida), Evelyn (Steve) and Jean (Joseph); and his family Furman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church (68 Wise Rd, Candler, NC 28715). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
