He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Herman and Callie Jordan Owenby; his wife Edith Marie Boyd Owenby; his grandson Josh Owenby; and his son-in-law Charles Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Chandler, Kenneth Owenby (Laura), Dennis Owenby (Kristi) and David Owenby; and his brother Roy Owenby (Ida). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
