He is survived by: his stepchildren, Karen Hall (Robert), Kenneth Buchanan and Steve Buchanan; his grandchildren, Kyle Walker of Candler, Cassie McKinney (Steven) of Canton and Sydney Hall of Leicester; his great grandchildren, Rylee and Kinslee McKinney; and his siblings, Howard Whetstine of Clayton and Genevieve "Jenny" Worley of Granite Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
