It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Holland Jones (Candler, North Carolina), born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert N. Jones, Jr.; her daughter Patricia Gail O'Kelley; and her granddaughter Katie O'Kelley. She is survived by: her children, Michael Jones (Charlotte) of Piedmont, SC, Greg Jones (Kim) of Leicester, NC and Gina Pressley (Robert) of Asheville, NC.; her grandchildren, Sean O'Kelley, Elisabeth Self, Jennifer Jones, Coleman Pressley, Matthew Jones, Shelby Pope, Dylan Jones, Austin Jones and Allie Jones; her family Loraine; and her close friends, Garrnetta Woodard, Sandra Rice and Karla. She is also survived by her grandchildren she leaves behind thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Good News Missions, 1953 Smokey Park Highway, Candler, NC 28715 in honor of Loraine's lifelong commitment to her faith community.
