It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Barnes Mitchell (Candler, North Carolina), who passed away on September 25, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her spouse Jesse Lafayette Mitchell; and her children, Martha Virginia Mitchell, Jessica Faye Trentham and Joseph Hamilton Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to the Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Florence.
