It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwayne Burnette Burleson of Candler, North Carolina, born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harrison, Murdie Ford, Olga and Bessie Burleson. He is survived by: his wife Ida Sue Clark Burleson; his parents, Lorene Ford Bradford (Carl) and Burnett Burleson (Judy); his sons, Joshua Dwayne Burleson and Colton William Burleson; his siblings, Lisa Mackey (Robert) and Dusty Burleson (Noelle); his nieces and nephews, Grayson, Landon, Gaven, Aden (Boogy), Lyessia Mackey Paley (Scott), Garett Mackey, Elizabeth Gray (Nick), Rebecca Spivey (Jordan), Dahdah and Chris; and his sister-in-law Janice Spivey (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dearly loved fur babies.
