He was predeceased by: his brother Bill Robinson; and his nephew Gary Lee Davis. He is survived by: his children, David Robinson, Jr. (Tammy) of Asheville, Dale Robinson (Deborah) of Asheville, Melinda Carol Teesateskie of Robbinsville, Cynthia Anne Robinson of Arden, Tiffany Oliver (Arien) of Asheville and Alexandra Scott (Alton) of Mills River; and his siblings, Ina Hodge (Lonnie) of Orange Park, FL, Doris Hensley (Larry) of Alexander, Elden Robinson (Geraldine) of Leicester and Henry "Boogie" Robinson of Cowpens, SC. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
