He is survived by: his son Gene Bishop of Candler; his stepsons, Rick Ledford, Terry Ledford, Larry Ledford and Richard Ledford; his brother Grover Bishop of Cullowhee; and his grandchildren, Edward Bishop, Brittany Goforth, Kenneth Bishop, Jr. and Angelica Bishop.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Candler (1 Chapel of Faith Dr, Candler, NC 28715). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
