It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Reed Denning of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin Denning, Jr. and Joan Damaris Jenkinson; and his daughter Jessica Laughter. He is survived by: his wife Robin Denning; his children, Jason Denning and Alesha Laughter; his grandchildren, Savannah Keith (Kyle), Lillian Moss (Shane), Lucy Laughter, Jacob Denning and Lucas Denning; and his siblings, Caren Denning, Richard Denning and Charles Denning, III.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pisgah View Memorial Park (1529 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC 28715).
