He was predeceased by: his mother June Austin Capps. He is survived by: his wife Wanda "Nana" Sprouse Evans; his daughter Roxanne Evans Warren (Wes); and his sister Helen Messer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
