It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Leonard Hollingsworth of Candler, North Carolina, born in Horse Shoe, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Hollingsworth and Elva Louise Smathers Hollingsworth; his wife Jean Hollingsworth; his daughter Brenda Presley; and his siblings, Adron Hollingsworth, William, Vera Martin, Frank Hollingsworth, Ray Hollingsworth, Mary Lee Monteith and Robert Hollingsworth (Bob).
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Garrison (Jim) and Connie Saunders (Brett); his grandchildren, Julie Robinson, Donnie Davis, Michael Davis, Mandi Bradford, Jamie Revis, Christy Saunders and Catherine Saunders; and his brother Norman Hollingsworth (Ann). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
