She is survived by: her husband Shawn Hipp; her parents, Eric Lee Jones and Renee Bailey Jones; her brother Brandon Jones; her grandmother Jackie Bailey; and her parents-in-law, Derrick and Kim Hipp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the EC Program at Clyde Elementary School, 4182 Old Clyde Rd., Clyde, NC 28721.
