He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan DeBord and Jenny Selma Pressley DeBord; his wife Edna Pauline Best DeBord; his siblings, Christine Gaudet, Joseph and James DeBord; and his sons-in-law, David Fitz and Curtis Shoff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Fitz of Knoxville, Beverly Holland (Jack Holland) of Canton and Diana Shoff of Candler. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
