He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Blair and Cornelius "Sonny" Pfeiffer. He is survived by: his wife Mickey; his children, Connie Pfeiffer of East Windsor and John Stuart Pfeiffer (Alyson) of Spotswood; and his grandsons, Colin John and Sean Robert Pfeiffer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
