He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wilson and Pearl Alexander Wilson; his wife Betty Simpson Wilson; his son David Wilson; and his grandsons, Jason, William and Luke.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Martin of Cameron, Susie Marsh (Jerry) of Cameron, Ruby Jones of Sanford, Edna Wilson of Carthage and Dannie Wilson of Cameron; and his sisters, Judith Carter and Bobbyette Stout. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1844 NC Hwy 24/27, Cameron, NC 28326. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in William Rex Wilson 's name.
