He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Allen Rainey and Leafy King Rainey; his daughter Bobbie Jean Rainey; and his sisters, Ruth R. Newman, Louise R. Lotz and Vera R. Gatano.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Pat" R. Frazier (Tommy), Rebecca R. Aycock (Kirby), Mike Rainey (Anora) of Henderson and Ray Rainey (Jan) of Henderson; his grandchildren, Jennifer R. Bowman (Jon Adcock), Elizabeth F. Wilson (Daniel), Katherine R. Anderson (Greg), Amelia A. Hollis (Jeremy), Kelsey Aycock, Rebekah Aycock, Matt Frazier (Melissa), Bryan Rainey (Nicole) and Ashton Rainey; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, John Wilson, Jackson Anderson, Wesley Anderson, Thomas Wilson and Bennett Frazier.
