He is survived by: his wife Barbara DeMitri; his children, Michael DeMitri (Roseann), Valerie Santangelo (Thomas) and Stephen DeMitri (Denice); his grandchildren, Michelle Eavis (Sean), Valerie Emmons (Brandon), Kristin Reber (Tim), Stefanie Fithian, Michael Santangelo, Alexa Santangelo, Christopher DeMitri (Jena), Anne Ambrose (Cory), Nicholas DeMitri (Jennifer), Ryan Iacovone and Austin Iacovone; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Hailey, Cameron, Juliette, McKenna, Aiden, Dylan, Jaxon, Levi, Stephen, Cassadee, Axel and Maximus.
