James Eckerson Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Eckerson Johnson of Cameron, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Lauchlin Johnson; and his siblings, John Duncan "JD" Johnson and Bonnie Johnson Cole. He is survived by: his wife Irene Hardy Johnson; his daughter Tara J. Whiteside (Johnny) of Cameron; his granddaughters, Rebecca W. Stalls (Sam) of Waxhaw, NC and Katie W. Cranston (Nick) of Pleasant Garden, NC; his great grandchildren, Easton Grant, Clara James, Landry Mac Stalls, Natalie Beth and Camryn Faye Cranston; and his sisters, Frances J. Baker of Sanford, NC and Lena Collins of Vass, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
