She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston B. Norris and Jessie Lee Baker Norris; her son Kenneth Charles Strouth; and her brothers, Bobby Ray Norris and Harold Norris.
She is survived by: her sons, John Strouth Jr. (Lisa) of Venice and Preston Bryant Strouth Sr. (Varonda) of Lillington, NC.; her sisters, Sue Puryear of Sanford, NC and Peggy Seamone (Danny) of Midland, NC.; her sister-in-law Rachel Norris of Sanford, NC; and her grandchildren, Brooke Strouth of Preston, Gracie Byrd, Nicholas Jordan Strouth, Gabrielle Nicole Strouth and Christopher James Strouth.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 370, Broadway NC 27505 to help with funeral expenses.
