With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Theressa Weathers of Cameron, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Simuel; and her husband Norman Weathers. She is survived by: her children, Everette Smith (Deanara) of Sanford, NC, Lisa Smith and Lenora Weathers of Raleigh, NC; her brother Lonell Smith of Sanford, NC; her grandchildren, Tecoyia Smith of Sanford, NC, Tyra Johnson (Henry) and Timothy McNeill Boonsboro, MD (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Arianna and Richard Rozier (Yaniris); her siblings-in-law, Ellen Brewington (Henry), Carolyn Williams (Lawrence) and Walter Weathers (Mary) of Durham, NC; and her close friends, Rosa Davis and Betty Chesney. She is also survived by her family, church family, and friends.
