He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bennett, Sherri Bennett, Charles "Butch" Bennett Jr. (Erin) and Justin Bennett (Whitney); his girlfriend Julia Bambauer; his grandchildren, Morgan, Preston and Madison; his sister Mary Ann Gray; his nieces and nephews, Kirk (Kim), Shannon (Sean), Ryan (Lisa) and Ray Jr.; and his aunt Pansy Teague.
