She was predeceased by: her mother Pauline Brown McLaurin; her former spouse Watha Lee Davis; her husband William Stroud; her children, Rosa Marie Owens and Robert Lee Davis; and her siblings, Willie Richard McLaurin, Robert Lee Weldon McLaurin and Ella Grace Winston.
She is survived by: her children, Mary L. Manuel (Herbert) of Greensboro and Evaline Smith of Fayetteville; her sister Linda Yeomans of Stedman; and her grandchildren, Thessalonia Bradshaw, Eric Ellerbe, Ursula Neal, Batrina Davis, Phyllis Williams and Christine Manuel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, cousins, special family members and friends.
