He is survived by: his children, Ricky Abbott (Ana) of East Elmhurst, NY and Michelle Abbott of Camden, NC; his stepson Roland Shannon of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Christine Stevenson, Shari Abbott, Kyra Smith and Kyle Smith; and his siblings, Geraldine Mercer (Arnold) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Carlton Abbott of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
