He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Spencer and Marie Spencer; and his brother Daryl Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Belinda; his son Jason Spencer of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, Annette Sawyer of Elizabeth City, Jimmie Spencer of Moyock and Jackie Spencer (Jeanette) of Kinston; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Spencer of Shawboro and Beverly Spencer of Lampasas, TX; and his pets, Gator, Meadow and Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory be made to the SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina, 102 Enterprise Drive, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
