He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Whitley and Margaret Whitley; his sister Mary Patricia Clarke; his children, Sandra Wetzel, Mary Whitley, Victoria Whitley-Cole, Anita Eure, Robert Whitley, Jr and James Whitley (Bubba); and his siblings, Carolyn Jones, Richard Whitley, Jr., Joseph Whitley and Gary Whitley. He was also cherished by twenty-two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
