He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Bolen Lancaster; and his siblings, Edith Lancaster Smith and Marvin Taylor Lancaster. He is survived by: his children, Richard Ramsay (Jill) of Winston-Salem and Suzanne Ramsay of Greensboro; his sisters, Annie Tilley of Walnut Cove and Margie Dunn of Richmond, VA; and his grandchildren, Dakota Ramsay, Cheyenne Ramsay and Matthew Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
