It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Delmar Steele Sr. in Camden, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Steele; and his grandson Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Steele; his children, Paul Alan Rehberger (Lorie), Ken Marini, Joseph Delmar Steele, Jr. (Julie), Debbie Jo Steele, Angel Lynn Steele (Kevin Mitchell) and Vickie Joanne Nylander (Carl Downer); his grandchildren, Timothy, Thomas, Christina, Beth of Donna, J. P., Austin, Andrew, Caitlin, Aaron, Joseph, Wyatt, Maris, Tyler, Kayla, Julianna and Elizabeth; and his siblings, James Steele, Ray Steele and Evelyn Funk. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
