It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn White Upton of Camden, North Carolina, born in Belvidere, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ralph White and Ruby Adele Banks; her husband Fred E. Upton; and her daughter Nancy Upton Hand. She is survived by: her children, Susan Myers (Ken) of Zebulon and Fred Upton (Carolyn) of The Villages, Florida.; her grandchildren, Trent Upton (Ashleigh), Meredith Myers Smith (Brandon), Amber Myers of Ted and Molly Hand (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Hayes Upton, Emma Smith, Grace Smith, Tyler Smith, Milo Hand, Darby Gore and Shepard Upton Gore. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Evelyn's name to Camden Methodist Church, 197 NC Highway 343 South, Camden, NC 27921.
