She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ernest "Buck" Sawyer and Nancy Johnson Sawyer; her husband Hubert Sawyer; her son Milton "David" Martin (Tracy Grumbles Martin); her granddaughter Laura Martin; and her siblings, Tommy, Ernest Sawyer, Elsie Sawyer Godfrey and Ruby Sawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hollowell of Elizabeth City, NC and Dennis Martin (Melissa Martin) of Camden, NC.; her grandchildren, Whitney and Jeremy Meads; her great grandchild Jaxton; her grandchildren, James David "Buck" Martin and Shelby Martin; her great grandchild Violet; her grandchild Alexis Martin; her great grandchild Xander; her grandchildren, Amber and Allen Marriner; her great grandchildren, Adyson, Aleena and Auroura; her grandchildren, Courtney and Orry Gray; her great grandchildren, Emory and Lochlynn; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Mitchell; her great grandchild Harper; her sister Bessie (Mitchell Needham); and her sisters-in-law, Fuzz Eason, Jean Sawyer of Camden, NC and Margaret Sawyer of Hertford, NC..
