She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney E. Lambert; her parents, Joseph N. "Joe" Waters and Ruby Howell Waters; and her siblings, Josephine W. McKee (Edwin), Haran Nelson Waters and Milford Howell Waters.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Earl Lambert, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Laura Lambert; her granddaughter Ali Lambert of Calypso; her sisters-in-law, Clementine S. Waters of Mount Olive and Deborah G. Waters of Cary; and her nephew Jimmy Pate (Linda) of Calypso.
