He is survived by: his wife Zadie Bell Knowles Cotton; his children, Buck Cotton (Vicky), Jane C. Hedrick (Dale) and Betty Lou C. Grady (Steve); his grandchildren, Rebecca Watson (David), Jeffrey Coats (Brittany), Stephen Grady (Lauren) and Vanessa Cotton; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Watson, Lillie Coats, Eric Coats, Savannah Grady, Jordan Heath and Ashley Heath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Kitty Askins Hospice Center (107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro NC 27534) would be appreciated.
